Place your U-verse TV, Voice line(s) and High Speed Internet, if applicable*, on hold for $5 a month each. Vacation Hold can be activated for a minimum period of 2 months and a maximum period of 9 months over a 12 month period. ** To be eligible, your U-verse account must be in good standing and you must have had service for at least 30 days.
* If you have U-verse TV, Voice and High Speed Internet you will be required to put all three on hold, including all U-verse Voice line(s).

** Each U-verse account is only allowed to place their service on Vacation Hold twice within 12 months. Customer can call AT&T at 1.800.288.2020 to restore any U-verse services(s) placed on hold; if customer does not call and restore, service(s) will be restored on the restoral date selected below.

Following are the changes to your service while placed on hold:
U-verse TV Changes:
  • $5 recurring monthly fee.
  • No access to programming will be available.
  • Lease fees are waived for up to eight receivers.
  • If applicable, you will remain responsible for all remaining payment(s) for non-core package programming ordered before TV service was placed on hold and for all fees related to any maintenance plans, On Demand purchases and Pay-Per View Charges incurred while your TV service is placed on hold. ^
  • DVR functionality is turned off; consequently, DVR recording and playback will be unavailable. This includes playback of any programs recorded before your TV service was placed on hold.
U-verse Voice Changes:
  • $5 recurring monthly fee for each Voice line.
  • You will be allowed to keep your existing phone number and Directory Listing. Additional charges may apply to directory listing services.
  • The following calls are allowed at no additional charge:
    - Access to 911
    - Voicemail
    - Calls to Toll-Free numbers
    - Incoming calls
  • All outgoing calls (except 911, Voicemail, or Toll-free) may incur pay-per-use charges of $0.25 per minute (International calls will incur additional fees).
    - Additional charges may apply for calls to Directory Listing services and Directory Assistance
  • If applicable, you will remain responsible for all fees related to any maintenance plans.
U-verse High Speed Internet Changes:
  • $5 recurring monthly fee.
  • No Internet access will be available from in home Wireless Gateway.
  • Access to existing e-mail ID’s and AT&T Wi-Fi Basic will still be available for away from home use.
  • If applicable, you will remain responsible for all fees related to any maintenance plan, or internet equipment fees.
By placing your U-verse TV, U-verse Voice and U-verse High Speed Internet on hold, and if you are currently receiving any U-verse promotional discounts, the time periods associated with these discounts will continue to run while your U-verse services are on Vacation Hold and these promotional discounts may no longer apply when your services are restored.

^ Additional programming charges may include, but are not limited to, charges for non-core package programming such as ESPN Gameplan, ESPN Full Court and ConnecTech service.
Please note: Start date must be at least 7 calendar days from today's date but not more than 30 days from today's date. Return date must be at least 60 days but not more than 270 days from your start date. U-verse TV, Voice and High Speed Internet, if applicable, will be put on vacation hold on the same start date.

Conditions and Restrictions
  • All of your U-verse services will be put on Vacation Hold on the date you have selected.
  • You will be responsible for all monthly charges associated with Vacation Hold while your services are on hold.
  • If you have a monitored home alarm that makes outbound calls, these outbound calls will continue to work while your U-verse Voice service is on Vacation Hold. $.25 cents per minute may apply for any outgoing calls.
  • If you are currently receiving any U-verse promotional discounts, the time periods associated with these discounts will continue to run while your U-verse services are on Vacation Hold and these promotional discounts may no longer apply when your services are restored.
  • On the date you have selected, your U-verse services will be restored and will resume being billed at the then applicable rates. Pricing and programming may change while your U-verse services are on Vacation Hold.
  • If you would like to restore your U-verse service before the date you have selected, or if you would like to change the address where your AT&T U-verse bill is sent while your U-verse services are on Vacation Hold, you can call 1-800-ATT-2020.
